After graduating Yvette came to Colorado to attend Denver University and decided that Colorado was home. Her professional background includes teaching Passive Solar Architecture at Red Rocks Community College for 3 years and during that time designed several passive solar homes. She worked for Cigna as a financial planner for a few years. The Real Estate Profession merges her diverse skills in teaching, consulting, architectural design, and attention to data and trends perfectly. She has been a full time Real Estate Professional for 23 years. Yvette excels at helping her clients understand the Real Estate process and at teaching the logical sequencing of all the difference stages of marketing, pricing, contractual details, strategies in negotiation and making the best decisions for their needs and goals. Yvette grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her two sisters and brother. Her dad was a Dentist and a scratch golfer, and her mom taught French. Yvette went to RJR high school and competed on the track and swim teams. (She now wishes she had played more golf with her dad instead of all the swimming!) At 14, she was fortunate to be able to spend over a year with her grandparents in Marsannay-la-Cote, France. It was wonderful to get to know her grandparents, the culture, the French language, and her heritage. Living in a different country gave Yvette a broader world and human perspective. Yvette has lived in Evergreen for 40 years…and is so thankful to call Evergreen my home! Her two sons, JT and Davis, and their families live close by in Lakewood.
